Where and when were you born? "Detroit Michigan in September of 1974."
Any brothers or sisters? "Yes. I have 2 older sisters. That makes me the baby."
When did you move to Georgia? "When I was almost 5. So you could say I was raised in the South."
Are you married? "Yes. On February 28, 1998 I married my best friend in the whole world. Her name is Suzii. She is the most beautiful person I know, inside and out. And, she loves and fears the Lord. I count myself to be the most blessed man on the planet." |

Is your family very musical? "Yes. When I was very little our family used to travel in a motor home and share gospel music with churches all over the Northeast US and Canada. Also, growing up my parents were worship leaders in the church we attended."
So, did you receive any formal musical training while growing up? "No. Other than different family members and friends giving pointers here and there, I've developed most of my abilities by ear and with God's favor."
What instruments do you play? "I play the guitar, keyboard, drums, and bass. I also sing." |

When did you begin ministering through music? "In the Summer of 1995, I finally woke up and heard God's voice calling me to use my gifts for His purposes. I began playing the piano in my home church, Christ Chapel, and then over time adapted into a worship leader's role."
Then what happened? I received an incredible amount of on-the-job training from my Pastor and mentor, John C. Wood. Eventually, my leadership role grew to encompass the entire Arts ministry at our church. This included Music, Drama, Technical Ministries, Dance, Deaf Ministry, Service Programming, and Leadership Training of the Arts volunteers. Building the Arts Ministry from the ground up was a priceless experience for me. God taught me many things about leadership, worship, and church ministry that I will never forget."

So why did you leave your ministry position at Christ Chapel? "As simply as I can explain it; God spoke to me that it was time for me to stop there. He began speaking through dreams, then a vision, then through verbal confirmations. It was the last thing I would have wanted. I'd always said that I'd never leave that ministry position in pursuit of another ministry. I'd been more fulfilled than any other time in my life and things were going great within my department. But God said, 'Stop'. He let me stand alone with Him in the dark for about 3 weeks, then began speaking to me again through dreams, vision, and verbal confirmations. He now says, 'Go!'. I felt the Lord tell me that 'They' (meaning other churches) needed me. So now I'm taking everything that He has taught me and offering it to any church that will have me."
Who do you feel could benefit from your new ministry? "Any group or organization that is in need of new vision, passion, direction, or inspiration. We are available to minister in song and lead worship for any event or church service, as well as teach and train those who are in leadership roles within churches and other ministry organizations." |
